We just did IBP 5 in our company.
Business came up with a requirement that for certain products, if the production is 100 the warehouse should receive 92 but the production receipts should show 100 and capacity consumed should also be for 100. I created an intermediate KF and manipulated the TOTALRECEIPTS to reflect that value. That looked fine till we scrutinized the Projected stock. Projected stock was not looking at the reduced receipts but was calculating based on PRODUCTION.
I was under the impression that Projected Inventory used the TOTALRECEIPT key figure for calculating the inventory. Apparently it is not doing so. Can anybody please throw some light on this calculation?
